U. S. Firm Awards Hong Kong Company International Sales and Sales Management Training Franchise

Stevenson, Maryland: The Sandler Sales Institute, America's leading proponent of "non-traditional" sales and sales management training, announced today that it has awarded local entrepreneur Anthony Solimini the rights to own and operate its exclusive sales and sales management training business in Hong Kong.

"We are extremely pleased to have an individual with Anthony's sales background, drive and determination representing us in this new market," said Margaret Jacks, Sandler's vice president for international development. "We expect great things from him."

Solimini has worked for the past 15 years in Europe and Asia in a variety of sales and sales management positions. Most recently he worked for ABN Amro, a major European bank, in their Corporate Banking department as the head of sales for Greater China, Corporate Cash Management. Solimini has been involved in numerous projects, including recruitment, training and portfolio management for multinationals across Asia.

With markets opening up in Asia, Solimini believes that companies face a significant problem in recruiting professionally trained salespeople. "The real problem is that so many companies spend their budgets on 2-3 day training courses, which does nothing for the long term growth and development of salespeople. Reinforcement is the only way to develop professional, successful salespeople."

The Sandler Selling System is a reinforcement-based program that teaches salespeople how to take control of the selling process, with emphasis on pre-qualifying prospects before making sales presentations. Sandler-trained salespeople have a systematic approach to both developing and performing the skills and behaviors to reach the next level of their selling careers.

The Sandler Sales Institute, based in Maryland, is a franchised sales training organization with more than 160 locations in the United Sates, Canada and Europe. Founded in 1983, SSI has recently expanded, and continues to grow its operations through franchising in many key markets around the world.
